Zesty Lime Shrimp
Ingredients:
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cilantro, chopped (optional for garnish)
- Lime wedges (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, olive oil, lime juice, honey, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 20 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until shrimp turns pink and is cooked through.
- Serve the shrimp with a sprinkle of fresh chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice if desired.
