Yorkshire Pudding

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, milk, eggs, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a 9 inch pie dish, add beef drippings or vegetable oil and place in the oven until hot and sizzling, about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour batter into hot dish and return to oven.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until puffed and golden.
  6. Remove from oven and serve immediately with a savory roast or stew.
