Yorkshire Pudding
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup beef drippings or vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, milk, eggs, and salt until well combined.
- In a 9 inch pie dish, add beef drippings or vegetable oil and place in the oven until hot and sizzling, about 5 minutes.
- Pour batter into hot dish and return to oven.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until puffed and golden.
- Remove from oven and serve immediately with a savory roast or stew.
