  1. In a saucepan, heat the whole milk and powdered milk until it reaches a temperature of 180°F (82°C).
  2. Remove from heat and let cool to 110°F (43°C).
  3. Add the plain yogurt and stir well.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a clean jar or container and cover with a lid.
  5. Place the jar in a warm spot, such as an oven with the light turned on or a heating pad set to low, and let it sit undisturbed for 6-8 hours.
  6. After 6-8 hours, check the consistency of the yogurt. If it's too thin, let it sit for a few more hours.
  7. Once the yogurt has set, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
