Yellow Rice
    Ingredients:
    
        - 2 cups white rice
 
        - 2 1/2 cups water
 
        - 1 tablespoon olive oil
 
        - 1 teaspoon salt
 
        - 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
 
        - 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
 
        - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
 
        - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
 
        - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
 
    
    Instructions:
    
        - In a medium saucepan, combine the rice and water.
 
        - Add in the olive oil, salt, turmeric, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
 
        - Stir well to evenly distribute the spices.
 
        - Bring the rice to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan with a lid.
 
        - Let the rice cook for about 18 minutes, or until the water is fully absorbed.
 
        - Remove from heat and let the rice sit for 5 minutes.
 
        - Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
