Yakitori
Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 16 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together soy sauce, mirin, sugar, garlic, and green onions.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade and stir to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread chicken pieces onto soaked bamboo skewers.
- Grill skewers for 6-7 minutes on each side, brushing with marinade occasionally, until chicken is fully cooked.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Yakitori!
