  1. In a large bowl, combine the diced red onion, chopped tomatoes, diced habanero pepper, and chopped cilantro.
  2. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture and stir to combine.
  3. Add salt to taste, starting with a small amount and adding more as desired.
  4. Cover the bowl and let the salsa sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to combine.
  5. Serve chilled, garnished with extra cilantro if desired.
