Xavier Steak
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb steak
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, oregano, thyme, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the steak, making sure to coat both sides evenly.
- In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Carefully place the steak into the hot oil, and cook for about 7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer according to your desired level of doneness.
- Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
