White Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture until well combined.
- Stir in the white chocolate chips.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto a greased or lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
