Waffles
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Then mix in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Preheat a waffle iron and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour batter onto the waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Once done, remove the waffles and place on a wire rack to cool.
- Serve with your choice of toppings, such as fresh fruit, whipped cream, and maple syrup.
