Vegan Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish with cooking spray or vegan butter.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add in the vegetable oil, applesauce, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool for 10-15 minutes before cutting and serving.
