Veal Parmesan
Ingredients:
- 4 thin veal cutlets
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
- In a shallow dish, mix together breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Dip the veal cutlets in beaten eggs, then coat them in the breadcrumb mixture.
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the breaded veal cutlets and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove cutlets from skillet and place on a baking sheet.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Top each cutlet with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
