Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 3 slices of bacon
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: avocado, spinach, tomato
Instructions:
- Preheat a pan over medium heat and cook bacon until crispy. Set aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Crack egg into the pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until the whites are set and the yolk is still runny.
- While the egg is cooking, toast the bread slices.
- Once the bread is toasted, place a slice of cheese on one slice of bread and top with the cooked egg. Add the cooked bacon on top of the egg.
- For additional toppings, add them on top of the bacon.
- Place the other slice of cheese on top of the toppings, followed by the other slice of bread.
- Press down gently on the sandwich and let it cook for another minute or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
- Remove from pan, cut in half and serve hot. Enjoy your Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich!
