Turkey Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- Ketchup, mustard, and any other desired toppings
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, onion, parsley, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Form into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and lightly coat with oil.
- Cook the burgers for about 5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Add a slice of cheese to each burger during the last minute of cooking.
- Serve on a bun with lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings.
