Tuna Tartare
Ingredients:
- 1 lb sushi-grade tuna, diced into small cubes
- 1 avocado, diced into small cubes
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cucumber, diced into small cubes
- 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Crackers or tortilla chips, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced tuna, avocado, red onion, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro.
- In a separate smaller bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sriracha, ginger, and garlic until well combined.
- Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and stir gently to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve the tuna tartare with crackers or tortilla chips, if desired.
