Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cut the tops off of the peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Place the peppers in a baking dish and set aside.
  3. In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef/turkey until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Add in the diced onions and minced garlic and cook until softened.
  5. Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Spoon the mixture into the prepared peppers. Make sure to pack it in tightly.
  7. Pour 1/4 cup of water into the bottom of the baking dish and cover with foil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and top each pepper with shredded cheese.
  10. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
