Spaghetti Carbonara

  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic in the bacon fat until fragrant.
  4. In a small bowl, beat eggs and mix in grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti and reserved pasta water to the skillet with the garlic. Toss until pasta is well coated with garlic and oil.
  6. Remove skillet from heat and add the egg and cheese mixture to the spaghetti. Quickly mix to prevent the eggs from scrambling.
  7. Add bacon and chopped parsley to the skillet and toss until well combined.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Spaghetti Carbonara!
