Shrimp Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup prepared horseradish
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon wedges for garnish
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until pink and fully cooked.
- Drain the shrimp and place in a large bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Remove the shrimp from the ice water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Serve the shrimp with the cocktail sauce and garnish with lemon wedges and parsley.
