Salmon Sashimi
Ingredients:
- 1 pound sushi-grade salmon
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 avocado, thinly sliced
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- optional: wasabi paste and pickled ginger for serving
Instructions:
- Cut the salmon into thin slices, about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil to make the sauce.
- Place the salmon slices on a serving plate.
- Drizzle the sauce over the salmon slices.
- Arrange the avocado and cucumber slices on top of the salmon.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately with wasabi paste and pickled ginger, if desired.
