Roasted Brussels Sprouts

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Wash and trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts, then cut them in halves.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder (and red pepper flakes if desired).
  4. Add in the halved Brussels sprouts and mix well, making sure they are evenly coated.
  5. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are tender and slightly crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
