Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Wash and trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts, then cut them in halves.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder (and red pepper flakes if desired).
- Add in the halved Brussels sprouts and mix well, making sure they are evenly coated.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are tender and slightly crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
