Roast Beef

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.
  3. Rub the beef roast with olive oil and then rub the spice mixture all over the roast.
  4. Place the roast in a roasting pan and pour the beef broth into the pan.
  5. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and roast for 1 hour.
  6. After 1 hour, remove the foil and continue to roast for an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on desired doneness.
  7. Check the internal temperature of the roast with a meat thermometer – it should read 135-140°F (60-63°C) for medium rare or 145-150°F (63-65°C) for medium.
  8. Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
  9. Serve and enjoy your delicious roast beef.
