Ramen
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of ramen noodles
- 2 cups of water
- 1 egg
- 1 spring onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup of sliced meat, such as pork or chicken
- 1/4 cup of sliced vegetables, such as carrots and mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of miso paste
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of chili oil (optional)
Instructions:
- In a pot, boil the water and cook the ramen noodles for 2-3 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add in the sliced meat and cook until browned.
- Add in the vegetables and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce and miso paste, and stir to combine.
- Add in the cooked ramen noodles and stir fry for another 2 minutes.
- In a separate pan, cook the egg according to your preference (soft boiled or hard boiled). Set aside.
- Transfer the ramen into a bowl, and top with the cooked egg and sliced spring onions. Serve hot.
