Quinoa Porridge

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, rinse quinoa under cold water until water runs clear.
  2. Add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
  4. In a separate saucepan, heat milk, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  5. Once quinoa is cooked, add it to the milk mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Let simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve into bowls and add desired toppings.
