Quiche Florentine
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup cooked spinach, drained and chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) and roll out the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined.
- Add in the chopped spinach, shredded Gruyere cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to the egg mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Pour the quiche filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the center of the quiche is set and the crust is lightly golden.
- Let the quiche cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
