Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 9-inch pie crust
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake the pie for 15 minutes at 425°F (220°C), then reduce the heat to 350°F (180°C) and continue baking for another 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve with whipped cream on top, if desired.
