Pumpkin Pie

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake the pie for 15 minutes at 425°F (220°C), then reduce the heat to 350°F (180°C) and continue baking for another 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
  7. Serve with whipped cream on top, if desired.
