Pot Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pie crust
- 1 cup cooked chicken, chopped
- 1 cup mixed vegetables, cooked
- 1/2 cup uncooked potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add in flour and stir until smooth.
- Gradually add in the chicken broth, stirring constantly. Cook until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in milk, cooked chicken, vegetables, potatoes, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Place one pie crust in a pie dish and pour in the mixture.
- Cover the top with the second pie crust, crimping the edges to seal. Cut a few slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
