Popovers
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 450°F.
- Grease a 6-cup popover pan or a 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and eggs until well combined.
- Add in the flour and salt, and whisk until just combined.
- Slowly pour in the milk while whisking, until the batter is smooth with no lumps.
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan or tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 375°F and continue to bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the popovers are puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and immediately prick each popover with a sharp knife to allow steam to escape.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
