Poached Eggs
Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Fill a pot with water and bring to a gentle boil.
- Add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to the water and stir.
- Crack each egg into a small bowl or cup.
- Using a spoon, create a gentle whirlpool in the water.
- Slowly pour the eggs, one by one, into the whirlpool in the pot.
- Let the eggs cook for about 3 minutes for a soft yolk, or longer if you prefer a firmer yolk.
- Using a slotted spoon, carefully remove the eggs from the water and place them on a paper towel to drain excess water.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the poached eggs over toast, with avocado, or on their own for a simple and delicious breakfast.
