Pesto Pasta
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of pasta
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/3 cup pine nuts
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions.
- In a food processor, blend together basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, and parmesan cheese until well combined.
- While the food processor is still running, gradually add in the olive oil until the mixture becomes a smooth paste.
- Season the pesto with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a separate pan, lightly heat the pesto sauce.
- Drain the cooked pasta and return it to the pot.
- Pour the heated pesto over the pasta and mix well.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
