Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Using a spoon or a cookie scoop, scoop out dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
- Using a fork, gently press down on each cookie to create a criss-cross pattern. This also helps flatten the cookies out.
- Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until they are lightly golden brown on the edges.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
