Oysters Rockefeller
Ingredients:
- 2 dozen fresh oysters
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Shuck the oysters and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, melted butter, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the breadcrumb mixture onto each oyster, covering the top completely.
- Bake the oysters for 10-12 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the oysters are cooked through.
- Serve the Oysters Rockefeller hot, garnished with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
