Oven-Baked Ribs

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Trim any excess fat off the ribs and remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. This will make them more tender.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Rub the seasoning mix all over the ribs until they are well coated.
  5. Place the ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet and cover them with foil.
  6. Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2 hours.
  7. In a small saucepan, mix together the barbecue sauce and honey. Heat over low heat until it is warmed through and well combined.
  8. After 2 hours, remove the foil from the ribs and brush the barbecue sauce mixture over the top of the ribs.
  9. Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.
  10. Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
  11. Serve with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
