Oven-Baked Ribs
Ingredients:
- 2 racks of pork ribs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Trim any excess fat off the ribs and remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. This will make them more tender.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the seasoning mix all over the ribs until they are well coated.
- Place the ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet and cover them with foil.
- Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2 hours.
- In a small saucepan, mix together the barbecue sauce and honey. Heat over low heat until it is warmed through and well combined.
- After 2 hours, remove the foil from the ribs and brush the barbecue sauce mixture over the top of the ribs.
- Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- Serve with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
