Orecchiette with Broccoli Rabe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound orecchiette pasta
- 1 bunch broccoli rabe, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the orecchiette pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli rabe to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the broccoli rabe is tender.
- Add the cooked orecchiette to the skillet with the broccoli rabe, tossing to combine.
- Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
