Orange Chicken

  1. In a large bowl, toss the chicken with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until evenly browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, orange zest, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper.
  6. Add the sauce mixture to the skillet with the garlic and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  8. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet with the sauce and stir to coat.
  9. Serve the orange chicken over rice or noodles and enjoy!
