Oatmeal
Ingredients:
- 1 cup oats
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add 1 cup of oats, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and add 1/4 cup of milk and 1 tbsp of honey. Stir to combine.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Top with chopped nuts, if desired.
