Noodle Kugel
Ingredients:
- 16 oz wide egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
- Cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook noodles according to package instructions and drain.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until well combined.
- Add in the sour cream and melted butter, mixing until smooth.
- Stir in the cooked noodles and cottage cheese until well coated.
- If desired, add in raisins and a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Optional: Serve topped with additional sour cream or sprinkle with more cinnamon.
