Meatball Sub

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
  3. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. In a separate saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.
  6. Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the marinara sauce and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  8. Place the hoagie rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes, until lightly toasted.
  9. Remove from the oven and top each roll with the meatballs and marinara sauce.
  10. Top each sub with a slice of provolone cheese.
  11. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese
