Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Peel and chop the potatoes into equally sized cubes.
- In a pot, cover the potatoes with water and add a pinch of salt.
- Bring the water to a boil and cook the potatoes for about 15-20 minutes until they are soft.
- Drain the water and return the potatoes to the pot.
- Using a potato masher or fork, mash the potatoes until smooth.
- In a separate small pot, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the melted butter and milk to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious mashed potatoes!
