Maple Syrup Pancakes

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg with the milk and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Heat a griddle or pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
  5. For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle or pan.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for an additional minute.
  7. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  8. Serve the pancakes hot, topped with maple syrup.
