Maple Syrup Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Butter or oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg with the milk and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Heat a griddle or pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
- For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle or pan.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for an additional minute.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve the pancakes hot, topped with maple syrup.
