Maple Glazed Salmon

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the maple glaze over the fillets, making sure to coat both sides.
  3. Add lemon slices on top of each fillet.
  4. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) in the refrigerator.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
