Maple Glazed Salmon
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the maple glaze over the fillets, making sure to coat both sides.
- Add lemon slices on top of each fillet.
- Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
