Manicotti

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cook the manicotti shells according to package instructions until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pan, cook the Italian sausage over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through, breaking it up into small pieces.
  4. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pan with the sausage and cook until the onion is tender.
  5. Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  7. Using a spoon, fill each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture.
  8. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
  9. Arrange the stuffed manicotti shells in a single layer on top of the sauce.
  10. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the top of the manicotti.
