Lo Mein

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the sliced carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms, and cabbage. Cook for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are slightly softened.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Pour into the skillet with the vegetables and stir to combine.
  6. Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the skillet and stir to coat them in the sauce and vegetables. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade lo mein!
