Lime Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 9-inch pre-made graham cracker crust
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
- Lime slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, lime juice, and lime zest. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into the pre-made graham cracker crust.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly.
- Allow the pie to cool completely in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Once the pie is fully chilled, top with whipped cream or whipped topping and garnish with lime slices, if desired.
