Lemon Chicken

  1. In a shallow dish, mix together flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Coat the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  7. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon slices, thyme, and parsley to the skillet. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken breasts.
  9. Cover and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until chicken is heated through and the sauce is thickened.
