Kung Pao Shrimp

  1. In a large bowl, coat the shrimp with the cornstarch.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the peanuts, green onions, garlic, ginger, and red bell pepper. Sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce into the skillet with the vegetables and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet and stir until well coated with the sauce.
  6. Serve over rice and enjoy your homemade Kung Pao Shrimp!
