Korean BBQ
Ingredients:
- Thinly sliced beef (sirloin or ribeye)
- Marinade:
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup grated pear
- 1/4 cup grated onion
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Kimchi (optional)
- Rice (optional)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together all the marinade ingredients until well combined.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and mix until the beef is fully coated.
- Cover the bowl and let the beef marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Drizzle vegetable oil onto the grill or pan to prevent the beef from sticking.
- Place the marinated beef on the grill or pan, making sure to shake off excess marinade before placing it on the heat.
- Grill the beef for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until desired level of doneness is reached.
- Remove the beef from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the beef for garnish.
