Klondike Bar

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream, sugar, condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  2. In a double boiler, melt the dark and milk chocolate along with the coconut oil, stirring until smooth.
  3. Line a 9x9 inch square baking dish with parchment paper. Pour half of the melted chocolate onto the bottom of the dish and spread evenly.
  4. Place the dish in the freezer for 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the crushed graham crackers and chopped almonds.
  6. Remove the dish from the freezer and pour the cooled cream mixture on top of the hardened chocolate. Sprinkle the graham cracker and almond mixture on top.
  7. Put the dish back in the freezer for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Remove the dish from the freezer and pour the remaining melted chocolate on top. Spread evenly to cover the cream and graham cracker layers.
  9. Place the dish back in the freezer for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is completely hardened.</
