Kiwi Tart
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 4-5 kiwis
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the pre-made pie crust and place it in a 9-inch tart pan. Trim the edges of the crust if necessary.
- Cut the kiwis into thin slices and arrange them in the prepared crust.
- In a small saucepan, whisk together the sugar and cornstarch.
- Add in the water and vanilla extract, then heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
- Pour the thickened mixture over the sliced kiwis in the crust.
- Bake the tart for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let the tart cool completely before slicing and serving.
- Optional: Top with whipped cream before serving.
