Kentucky Hot Brown
Ingredients:
- 8 slices of white toast
- 1 pound of sliced roasted turkey
- 1/4 pound sliced crispy bacon
- 4 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 2 cups of mornay sauce
- Parmesan cheese
- Parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toast 8 slices of white bread, and place them in a baking dish.
- Next, layer the slices of roasted turkey and crispy bacon on top of the toast in the baking dish.
- Place sliced tomatoes on top of the turkey and bacon.
- Spread mornay sauce over the entire dish.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top of the dish.
- Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Kentucky Hot Brown.
