Juicy Lucy Burger

  1. Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and form into thin patties.
  2. Place a slice of cheese on 4 of the patties.
  3. Top each cheese-covered patty with another patty and press around the edges to seal.
  4. Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
  5. Heat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  7. If using a skillet, cover with a lid for the last couple of minutes of cooking to help melt the cheese.
  8. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a separate skillet.
  9. Place each patty on a bun and add desired toppings.
  10. Serve and enjoy your Juicy Lucy Burger!
