  3. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.
  4. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  6. Repeat with remaining batter, adding more butter or oil to the skillet as needed.
  7. Serve warm with butter, syrup, or your favorite toppings.
